A round-up of the NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2022

We were proud to be sponsors of the NACFB Commercial Broker Awards this year, which our team attended on 23 September at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. 

Hosted by comedian Ed Byrne this year, these awards are a highlight in our calendar as they recognise talent in the broker world – whether you’re a sole trader or a large regional presence. This year we sponsored the Cashflow Broker of the Year, presented by our Head of Business Development for the North Michael Morris, and the COVID Recovery Award, handed over by Head of Business Development for the South, Shaun Jennings. 

As a bit of fun and also to raise money for the NACFB’s chosen charity, the Newman Holiday Trust, all guests also took part in a game of Heads or Tails to win an iPad Pro. A minimum donation of £10 was required to play the game and participation on the night contributed to the NACFB raising an impressive £10,000 for the charity so far. 

Speaking after the event, Michael Morris said: “We were proud to name Pilot Fish Finance as the Cashflow Broker of The Year, with Halo Corporate Finance Ltd being highly commended. We also awarded Synergi Finance with the COVID Recovery Award, alongside Approved Business Ltd as highly commended. Congratulations to all of the winners.
