Backing businesses across the UK in partnership with Premiership Rugby

Updated: 13 May 2024

As we reach the end of the 2023/24 Premiership Rugby season, we’re delighted with how our sponsorship has helped back small businesses across the UK with business grants, marketing workshops and hospitality.

Funding Circle have been proud sponsors of Premiership Rugby since 2022, backing big players and small businesses and celebrating what they do for their community.

For the last two years we have given businesses the chance to win some amazing prizes, including a business grant of £10,000, the ultimate business package, worth £16,000, and a chance for business owners to reward their work teams with hospitality at the Premiership Rugby club of their choice.

Congratulations to the following small businesses, who have all won backing from Funding Circle through our partnership with Premiership Rugby:

  • Classroom Kitchen
  • Decoralist
  • Top Mark Uniforms

Here we look at all of our Premiership Rugby prize winners to date and find out how our support has helped back their business.

Three businesses we’ve backed through our Premiership Rugby sponsorship

Classroom Kitchen

“The prize was a real boost to the business just when we needed it! We were able to update our website and increase our advertising budget for the year.”

– James Deveney, General Manager

During our first season of sponsorship in 2022/23, Classroom Kitchen were one of two winners of our Grand Prize – a business support package, which included a £10,000 grant.

Based in Bolton, Classroom Kitchen helps primary schools in the area to get cooking and learn about nutrition from an early age.

Decoralist

“The funding, mentorship and opportunities for brand exposure have given us the confidence to fuel our business into the next stage of growth.”

Catherine Cornelissen, Founder

Also winning a £10,000 business grant during the 2022/23 season was interiors brand Decoralist. Decoralist offers chic, one-of-a-kind furniture, sourcing pieces from all over the world to help customers find their unique style.
