Your economic impact in 2021

We recently released our Economic Impact Report, which shows the impact Funding Circle’s small business lending has had all over the UK. As our Introducers are such a big part of what we do, we wanted to share the incredible difference they’ve made as a community.

In 2021, lending facilitated by our Introducers contributed a staggering £3.75 billion to UK GDP, supported 54,000 jobs nationally, and generated £1 billion in tax revenues. 

These impressive numbers show just how vital our Introducer community is, and are testament to our Introducers’ hard work building such good relationships with partners and clients.

Plus, our lending helped SMEs in every one of the UK’s 650 parliamentary constituencies across the year, with an average of £3 million per constituency – showing the wide-ranging reach this impact has had.
