Funding Circle’s full year results were announced on 10 March and we wanted to take the time to recognise the success of our Introducer community this year.
In 2021, we lent over £1 billion through the UK Introducer community and had over 1,000 active Introducers for the second year in a row – a truly amazing feat during another difficult year. What’s more, this huge amount of funding went on to support over 6,500 small to medium sized businesses around the UK, helping them get what they needed to grow and thrive after the impacts of the pandemic.
These figures are a testament to the incredible hard work of our Introducers over the last year; we’re really proud of everything they have achieved.
Jeremy Crinall, head of UK Introducer Partnerships, said: ‘These figures demonstrate the huge value that the Introducer community brings to SMEs, and is testimony to their passion and commitment towards Funding Circle’s goals.
The Introducer team has formed really strong relationships with our Introducer community over the years, and these results are evidence of the journey we have been on to support as many SMEs as possible. We’d like to thank everyone for working with us, over the past few years especially.’
As Funding Circle supports more and more businesses, with over £14 billion lent to more than 120,000 businesses so far, we can’t wait to see how our Introducer community grows – and what else they can achieve in the future.
