Simply Asset Finance’s charity football tournament

On Thursday 11^th January, Funding Circle took part in Simply Asset Finance’s charity football tournament, to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 

It was an incredible day with almost 200 people from the finance space coming together to play football, while raising money for an important cause. There were 26 teams in total battling it out across several rounds and we’re proud to say team Funding Circle got through to the semi-finals!

Despite a few sore legs the next day, the team had a great time. Big shout out to Shaun Jennings, James Lovett, Callum Yeoman, Rhiann O’Grady, Matt Barker, Tom Merritt and Eamonn Martin for representing Funding Circle. And a big thank you to Simply Asset Finance for organising such a fun day – we’re already looking forward to next year.
